Preamble

This Privacy Policy applies to users of the website www.jockiz.com (the “Platform”) published by the company Epollon SAS, whose registered office is located at 7, rue Pablo Neruda 92300 Levallois-Perret, registered with the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 921 915 419.

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to explain to the Users of the Platform:

  • The term ‘Platform’ means the website accessible at www.jockiz.com.

The data are hosted by VERCEL via AWS Amazon Web Services servers whose headquarters are located at 650 California St, San Francisco, CA 94108, US. The host can be contacted at contact@vercel.com.

The personal data collected and processed are hosted and processed exclusively in France and/or Europe.

4. Who processes your data?

4.1. Data Controller

Epollon, a simplified joint-stock company, whose registered office is located at 7, rue Pablo Neruda 92300 Levallois-Perret, registered with the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 921 915 419, is the Controller of your Data collected when using the website jockiz.com and the Platform.

4.2. Obligations of the Data Controller

The Data Controller undertakes to protect the personal data collected, not to transmit them to third parties without informing the User, and to respect the purposes for which these data were collected.

In addition, the Data Controller undertakes to notify the User in the event of rectification or deletion of the data, unless this would entail disproportionate formalities, costs and efforts.

If the integrity, confidentiality or security of the personal data is compromised, the Controller undertakes to inform the data subjects by any means.

5. Why do we collect your data?

We offer you a unique experience on our Platform. To this end, we collect and process your personal data for different purposes and on different legal bases, as set out in the table below:

7. How long do we keep your data?

If you are a customer, up to 3 years from the end of your contractual relationship with us. If you are a prospect, up to 3 years from the last contact or the last activity on the website or on an electronic communication medium (in particular an email).

8. What rights can you exercise regarding the Processing of your data?

You have the right at any time to exercise with Epollon one of the rights listed below:

  • Right of access: the right to obtain confirmation that your data are being processed by us, and, where applicable, the right of access to such data and the right to obtain additional information on the characteristics of the Processing
  • Right to rectification: in the event of inaccuracy or, in view of the purpose of the Processing, the right to complete incomplete data, including by providing a supplementary statement
  • Right to restriction of Processing so that we do not process your data for a defined period

9. How do we protect your data?

We are committed to protecting the information we collect through the Platform. In particular, we use appropriate physical, technical and organizational security measures to prevent unauthorized or unlawful Processing, accidental loss or destruction of your data, or damage thereto.

10. What do we do in the event of a data breach?

In the event of a Data breach, we notify the competent supervisory authority of the breach in question as soon as possible and at the latest within seventy-two (72) hours after becoming aware of it.

Furthermore, in the event that the breach is likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of a User, we will inform the person concerned by the breach of their data, unless:

  • We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational protection measures which were applied to the data affected by the breach, in particular measures that render the data unintelligible to any person who is not authorized to access it, such as encryption
  • We have taken subsequent measures which ensure that the high risk to the rights and freedoms of the data subjects is no longer likely to materialize
  • Communication to the data subject would involve disproportionate effort.
